SAND VOLLEYBALL COACHING
While I have trained several adult men/women in sand volleyball the last decade, sand doubles for high school has just taken hold the last three summers here in the Midwest. Each of the last four summers We have taken on multiple doubles teams with a team finishing as high as third prior to 2017.
In the winter of 2016-2017 one of the girls we had been training for 3 years committed to LSU to become the first girl from MO/KS to go to college on a beach only scholarship. We have had a few girls train on our courts in previous years that played beach in college, but it was on an indoor scholarship and they were a dual roster athlete. The spring of 2017 we put in a second court and that summer we trained 30 girls on our two courts. We had 10 teams that we worked with qualify for USAV Nationals in Siesta Key in 2017 and several for American Beach Tour National Championships.
Hilighted with a 12U National Champs & 14U Runners up (out of over 120 teams!).
Many other top finishes with all 7 teams that we coached at USAV in Siesta finishing in the gold flight on day three.
More info can be found be selecting 'P4:13 Beach Club' and dropping down to 'Training History' tab.

Jenny Scherfenberg, P4:13 Beach Coach (wife)
Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelors, Physical Education & Coaching, NWMSU
Masters, Athletic Administration, William Woods
About me:
I have been a physical education teacher and coach in the Belton School District since 2004. I am blessed with 4 amazing daughters and a fabulous husband who coaches and teaches at the high school. I love traveling, competing in beach volleyball, being actively involved with our church and photography.
Jenny brings a competitive female presence to P4:13 with the girls an opportunity to train with and against her. She is an accomplished open player that has many open beach tournaments across the country even winning tournaments with $1000 first place prize money. She was a standout athlete at Excelsior Springs HS where she received all conference, district and state honors in track and volleyball. She was a part of the volleyball and track programs at Northwest Missouri State before turning her attention all to track where she was a national champion pole vaulter. Jenny does not pole vault anymore, but does continue to compete in sand doubles volleyball throughout the year in competitive tournaments across the country. Nothing like having the opportunity to brag on your wife and to have her coach along side:).
